Vollean Kemp Baker, 98 of Martinsburg, WV passed away on Dec 10, 2018. She was born August 31, 1920 in Bens Run, WV, a daughter of the late Dory and Anna Beagle Kemp.

She was a member of the Central Church of Christ in Martinsburg WV, and a former member of the 36th St. Church of Christ in Vienna, WV. She liked needlework and quilting and enjoyed playing bingo with the other residents in Elmcroft assisted living during her final years.

Vollean is survived by two daughters, Lana Drum (Charles) and Deanna Moyers (Richard); three grandchildren, Jim Renner, Mark Drum and Stacey Doughty; four great-grandchildren, Cierra Steele, Rebecca Renner, Logan Doughty and Ali Doughty; one great-great-grandchild, Jameson Steele; two brothers, Conrad Kemp and Gary Kemp; and two sisters, Betty Knier and Gladys Frohling.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Chalmer Baker.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the 36th St. Church of Christ in Vienna, WV with Mark Mason officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to time of service Saturday at the church. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home is assisting the family.
