Glenda M. Culver was born April 17, 1948 in Denver, Colorado to Homer and Flora Harrison. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on May 3, 2017 after a lengthy battle of cancer.

Glenda spent her childhood growing up in various parts of Colorado. Her family eventually settled in Larkspur, CO. She attended Douglas County High School. It was while living in Larkspur, she met her first husband, William Cox. They were married on May 16, 1966 in Castle Rock. To this union, three daughters were born, Tammy, Nikki and Tina. They eventually settled in Attica, where Glenda worked at the Attica Annex. She and William later divorced.

She later met Tracy Culver. They settled in Grand Junction, CO. They were married December 31, 1989 at her parents' home in Grand Junction. To this union, two more daughters were born, Elizabeth and Kay. After living in Colorado for 6 years, they decided to move back to Kansas, first to Cunningham, then, eventually to Newton.

Glenda was proud of her five daughters and loved being a grandmother to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She cherished every minute she had with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Flora; three brothers, Jesse Doney, Dale Harrison and William Harrison; one granddaughter, Katherine Shearer; father-in-law, Bobby Culver.

She will be missed by her loving husband, Tracy Culver; her daughters, Tammy Cox of Newton, KS, Nikki Redgate and her husband Landon of Anthony, KS, Tina Smolik and her husband Tom of Bushton, KS, Elizabeth Wilson of Newton, KS and Kay Thomas and her husband Dakota of Newton, KS; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jean Hovet of Fruita, CO, Janet Delgado of Newton, KS and Nita Brewer of Lakewood, CO; three brothers, Robert Doney of Swink, CO, Harry Harrison of Prairie City, IL and Wayne Harrison of Grand Junction, CO; mother-in-law, Linda Culver of Harper, KS and several nieces and nephews.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date in Grand Junction, Colorado.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Reno County Hospice, 1600 N. Lorraine, Suite 203, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
