Funeral services for Alton Landers Belyeu, 33, of Bonnerdale, Ark., will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Wood-Dunning Colonial Chapel with the Rev. J.R. Williams, a Baptist minister from Rule, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.

Mr. Belyeu died Friday, April 2, 1999, in a truck accident in Gulfport, Miss.

He was born July 8, 1965 in Plainview. He graduated from Abernathy High School in 1983 and served with the U.S. Army from 1985-1989. He attended South Plains College from 1991-1992 and worked for Hamilton Acoustical Company. He was employed with Recreational Grassing in Bonnerdale, Ark., for the last two years where he worked putting grass on golf courses.

Survivors include his fiancee, Andrea Reppo, and her son, Tyler of Glenwood, Ark.; his mother and father, J.W. and Marie Fugett Belyeu of Shallowater; two brothers, Wayne Fuller of Plainview and Jimmy Belyeu of Port Arthur; five sisters, Kay Evans of Shallowater, Due Draker of Spade, Diane Cotton of Aynor, S.C., Elizabeth Drury Johnson of San Francisco, Calif., and Rebo Hargett of Bonnerdale, Ark.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Ketchum, Tracy Nichols, Mecha Griffin, Grady Arthur, Beal Simmons and Danny Davidson. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Mason, Mike Hood, Kevin Stanley, Mike Mooney, Jerry Mooney and Greg Mooney.
