EAST PRAIRIE- Robert Mitchell Blasingain, 86, a retired farmer, died at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday in Missouri Delta Community Hospital at Sikeston.

Born Nov. 11, 1890 at Hickman, Ky., son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bill Blasingain, he lived mast of his life in Mississippi County.

In 1907, he married Annie Violia Goff, who preceded him in death. One son also preceded him in death.

Survivors include: One daughter, Mrs. Brooks (Azlee) Griggs of LaCenter, Ky.; two sons, Robert and J. C. Blasingain of East Prairie; one sister, Mrs. Josie Richardson of Ridgely, Tenn.; and 28 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home, where services are scheduled at 1:30 p.m. Friday with the Rev. J. O. Casey, pastor of the Oneness Pentecostal Church, officiating.

Burial will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
