By 1727 in Wethersfield (date of marriage not recorded), Sarah m. as his 2nd wife, Josiah Goodrich, Esq., eldest s. of Col. David Goodrich and Hannah Wright, b. of record June 15, 1690 in Wethersfield. He d. testate July 27, 1731 at the Town of Tolland, Conn., Æ 42 (g.s.) They had two children, sons John and David, for whom see their respective memorials.
Sarah wrote her will in Wethersfield on Nov. 9, 1747, with the inventory of her estate made on Dec. 17, 1747. Her will was proved in Wethersfield Mar. 17, 1747/8. [Manwaring, 3:558-9.] In addition to her natural sons John and David, Sarah also left personal property to her stepson Samuel Goodrich.

In 1899 Tillotson found no extant gravestone for Sarah Goodrich, but she is assumed interred here in a now unmarked grave.
