Shirley (nee Thompson), died peacefully with dignity at Kingston General Hospital while surrounded by the love of her family. Predeceased by her loving husband of 39 years, Gerald "Gerry" Robert Beauchamp. Dear mother of Brian (Sandra) of Odessa, Mike (Trish) of Napanee and Susan McCracken (Fred) of Athens. Affectionately known as "Grandma" to Brett (Angelyn) and Jeffrey; David; Morgan (Luis) and Kirby, and "Granny" to great-grandchildren, Makayla, Emma, Evan and Neva. Survived by her brother, Daniel Thompson of Cornwall and sister, Beverley Thompson of Ottawa. Predeceased by brothers, Blake, Earl, Everett, Ray and sisters, Betty and Elaine. Shirley will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and friends. Arrangements for cremation entrusted to James Reid Crematorium. The family will receive friends at JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard in Kingston, on Wednesday, May 17 between the hours of 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at ST. JOSEPHS' ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 392 Palace Road in Kingston, on Thursday, May 18 at 11:00 am. Private Rite of Committal with Prayers at Cataraqui Cemetery. Following the Funeral Mass, all are welcome to a reception at the James Reid Reception Centre. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or Kidney Foundation in Mrs. Beauchamp's memory.
