Moses was the son of Thomas Graham. He married Sally Clark, a native of Virginia, on April 9, 1819 in Garrard County, Kentucky. Martin Middleton was the bondsman. Consent was given by Elizabeth Keys for "orphan Sally". The couple made their home on land, which Moses had inherited in his father's will. The property was located near Bryantsville and by Sugar Creek. Some of their known children were William, Nicholas, James H., Robert, John, Lucy and Martha Graham. Moses earned his living by farming his own land.

Lancaster News.-Moses Graham, better known as Moses Grimes, died near Bryantsville, Garrard County, on the 12th instant, aged eighty-three years.
