Barbara " Babs" Adamson, of Pensacola Fl, passed away May 9th, 2017.
Born in Montgomery, Alabama December 30th, 1947 to Robert and Eileen Glass. She graduated from Pensacola High School Class of 66'. She worked at Sacred Heart until retiring in 2001. Babs was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Ladies Auxiliary Lodge 71. She loved life and all life she created. She made sure each of her children and grandchildren had everything they ever needed or wanted and always gave the best mommy hugs. She enjoyed the beach, shopping, music, dancing, traveling, impromptu parties and just being around family, all of us!
Babs is survived by her husband of 44 years, Patrick, whose lifelong prayer was to live longer than Babs so she would never be alone. Five children; Pat (Kandi) Adamson, Jerry (Mary Elizabeth) Adamson, Chris (Mandi) Adamson, Aimee (Tony) Smith and Jenny (Jason) Davis. Three brothers Jack Siler, Bob Glass and Brian Glass. A special cousin, Julia Crane Dubose, 16 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a host of nieces nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Eileen Glass and a daughter Angela.
The family will receive friends at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 9am till the service begins at 10am
