Morrisville - Garth Lee Bailey, 80, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 6, 2017 at The Manor in Morrisville. He was born May 2, 1937 in Craftsbury, the son of Arthur and Charlotte Wells Bailey. He served in the U.S. Army stationed in Greenland from 1956 to 1958.
Garth operated his own homecare maintenance company, Bailey Associates, for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, tending to his flower gardens and landscaping.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Brice Bailey and sisters, Carole Allen, Lois Tallman and Vivian Bailey.
A graveside service will be held Friday, May, 12 at 2:30 p.m. at the Riverbank Cemetery in Stowe. Faith Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Online condolences may be made by visiting faithfh.net.
