George Randy Marley, 65 year-old resident of Claremore, Oklahoma, formerly of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away May 8, 2017 in Claremore, Oklahoma. Born June 8, 1951 he was the son of George Washington Marley and Rebecca Jean (Zellner) Marley. He played the Cornet in the Midwest City High School all thru his high school years. Randy was a U. S. Army veteran, serving his country from January 1971 to October 1972. He was a carpenter working in home construction. Randy and his brother Terry were partners and co-owners of Marley Brothers Woodscapes for 22 years; a successful home remodeling and outdoor structure business. He loved old vintage cars as well as motorcycles, especially his Harley and taking trips with his friends. Randy loved being outdoors, especially camping at Red Rock with Tara and Jared and it always included Frisbees, footballs, and baseball gloves. He loved his Converse tennis shoes; woodworking and making decks; beer; and his pet dachshund dogs. Most of all he enjoyed being with his family in the outdoors. Randy was preceded in death by his parents, George Marley and Rebecca Marley Fluitt. Survivors include 1 son, Jared and his wife Randi Marley of Edmond, Oklahoma; 1 daughter, Tara and her husband Chad Dobbins of Edmond, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren, Kelsey Dobbins; Mackenzie Dobbins; Taylor Phillips; Hayden Marley; and Paisley Marley; 2 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Terry and LeeAnn Marley of Oklahoma City, OK; 1 sister, Suzanne Aylor of Oklahoma City, OK; 4 step-siblings, John Fluitt; Mark Fluitt; Paul Fluitt; and Barbara Gaddis; and 5 nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from Noon until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2017 at Ft. Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Oklahoma. Military Honors will be rendered by the U. S. Army Honors Detail from Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. Arrangements under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, Oklahoma City, OK.
