Betty Jean Perry, 80, of Sedalia passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Mulberry Health.

She was born July 25, 1936 in Kirklin to Charles Clifford and Verna Eileen (Bacon) Clements. She attended Frankfort High School and was a member of Bethel Bible Holiness Church in Frankfort where she served as a Sunday School teacher. Betty cleaned houses for 10 years and was as homemaker.

On April 14, 1955, Betty married Jack Leon Perry, he survives in Sedalia with granddaughter Jannica Lynn (husband Barry) Glover of Lafayette; two great grandchildren, Dahni and Aidan; two sisters, Bonnie Lee Clements of Lebanon and Mary Bell Huffer of Florida and step-father, Lavanue Arndt of Indianapolis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Debbie Eileen Perry-Young and one son, Jeffrey Lynn Perry; two brothers, Larry Lee Clements and Charles Robert Clements.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 15, 2017 at Genda Funeral Home Rossville Chapel from 9:00 a.m. to the start of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Rossville Cemetery.
