Grace Bloom, 92, Canonsburg, formerly of Tyrone, went to be with the Lord on Sunday.

She was born in Warriors Mark, daughter of the late Albert and Viola (Wagner) Harpster. She was first married to Jesse E. Barley, who preceded her in death in November 1956, and she later married Ronald F. Bloom, who preceded her in death in March 2007.

Surviving are five daughters: Norine (David Grudi) Mumbray of Canonsburg, Claudia Keith, Viola (Edward) Dysart and Crystal (Chuck) Deihl, all of Tyrone, and Charlene (John Brodzina) Bloom of Warriors Mark; a son, Jesse (Cristi) Barley of Tyrone; two stepdaughters: Carol (John P.) Jones and Connie (Paul) Kaiser; 11 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and eight step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one step-granddaughter; and eight siblings. She was the last of her immediate family.

Grace was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd, Tyrone. She was the last surviving member of a sewing club made up of a special group of friends. She was an avid bowler and participated in many leagues. She was also a world traveler.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2017, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, May 11, 2017, at Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Tyrone. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Church of the Good Shepherd, Tyrone, the Rev. Eric Shafer officiating. Interment will be made at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.

Memorial contributions in Grace’s memory may be made to Interim Hospice Care, 1789 S. Braddock Ave., No. 220, Pittsburgh, PA 15218.
