James K. Bohnenkamp, 24, of Austin, TX, formerly of Remsen, IA, died Tuesday July 9, 1985, in an Austin hospital of injuries suffered in a truck accident Monday in Austin, TX.

Mr. Bohnenkamp was born Aug. 6, 1960, in Le Mars, IA to Kenneth and Therese (Caraher) Bohnenkamp. He went to school in Remsen, and graduated from Remsen-Union High School in 978. He studied plumbing, heating and air conditioning at Northwest Iowa Technical College and graduated in 1979. He was employed by plumbing and heating firms in Remsen, IA, and since 1984 in Austin.

He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Catholic Order of Foresters in Remsen, IA.

Surviving him are his mother, six brothers, and his paternal grandmother Sophie (Scharff) Bohnenkamp.

Funeral services will be at St. Mary's in Remsen with burial in the parish cemetery.
