LARKINBURG- Robert Duane Blackwell, 74, of Larkinburg, KS, died Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at a Holton care facility. He was born May 3, 1932 in Wallace County, KS, the son of William and Alberta Bolen Blackwell. Mr. Blackwell had lived in the Holton and Larkinburg communities since 1950. He was a farmer and had worked for Gossip Printer in Holton for 5 years. He was a member of the Larkinburg Christian Church. He was married to Stella Douglas. They were later divorced. He is survived by his daughter, Sandra Langberg and her husband, Les of Fletcher, NC; his son, Randy Blackwell of Netawaka, KS; his sisters, Connie Burke of Holton, KS, Glenda Hase of Rossville, KS, Darlene Gartner, Glea Ashley and Cindy Hope all of Topeka, KS; his brothers, Ronald Blackwell of Topeka, KS, Terry Blackwell of Winfield, KS and Ricky Blackwell of Springfield, MO, 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Cremation is planned. Private inurnment will be in the Larkinburg Cemetery.
