Word was received here yesterday of the death of J.F. Spradling, a former resident of LaGro township, at Muncie on Tuesday morning from inflammation of the stomach. The deceased was a son of Simon Spradling, a well known resident of this county, and was a man about thirty-five years of age. A few years ago he moved to Muncie and went into the hardware trade with his brother and James Ridgley. His remains were brought to his old home and will be interred to-day on the family burying place in Hopewell cemetery, southeast of this city. He leaves a wife and small family.
