Annie Jean Ezell, 81, formerly of Ware Shoals, died February 28, 2013. Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late Otto and Nellie Ezell. Annie was a retired Surgical Technician from Greenville Memorial Hospital and was of the Baptist Faith.

She is survived by her former husband, Thomas Howard Thornton of Mauldin; her daughter, Lilli Ann Hall and husband Richard of Mauldin; a son, Thomas Thornton and wife Regina of Fountain Inn; two granddaughters, Jamie Malone Dill of Liberty, and Tori Marwede and husband Paul of Mauldin; two great grandchildren, Mac Dill and Carter Marwede; two sisters, Betty Cooper and Sandy White; her brother, Butch Ezell; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Kenneth Ezell.

The family will receive friends Sunday, March 3, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Lilli Ann Hall, 35 Poplar Springs Drive, Mauldin, SC 29662. Memorials may be made to The Bair Foundation, 15 Century Drive, Greenville, SC 29607.
