Bertha P. (Wiggins) Holm, 90, of Derry, NH, died Friday May 5, 2017 in Aurora Senior Living in Derry. She was born in Derry on February 6, 1927, a daughter of the late Guy and Mildred (Brewster) Wiggins, and had been a lifelong resident. Bertha was graduate of Pinkerton Academy, Class of 1944. She enjoyed knitting, especially for newborns, and was an avid reader. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, [Redacted] Holm of Derry, and [Redacted] Holm and his wife [Redacted] of Derry; five grandchildren, [Redacted] Bell and her husband [Redacted], [Redacted] Roy and her husband [Redacted], [Redacted] Holm, [Redacted] Holm, and [Redacted] Holm; eleven great grandchildren; as well as her special friend, C[Redacted] Plocharczyk of Derry; she was predeceased by her husband, Russell N. Holm in 2013, and two sons, Steven Holm and Richard Holm.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 9th from 4 - 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00am in the funeral home. The burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry.
