Alfred Wilbur Finchum Jr., 56, passed away on May 3, 2017. He was born on June 23, 1960 in Toms River, NJ to Alfred Wilbur Sr. and Nancy Jeanette (Barts) Finchum.

Alfred had a love for his family, Harley Davidson motorcycles, and guns. He was always a straight forward man who would tell you exactly what was on his mind. At times, he was very blunt!

He served in the United States Air Force during the Gulf War era. Alfred was always willing to help anyone and was an all-around good guy.

Alfred was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Wilbur Finchum Sr.; brother, Thomas Finchum; sister, Susan McCoy; and niece, Jamie Cox. Survivors include his mother, Jeanette Finchum; daughters, Willa Burney, Kara Finchum, Kassidy Jernigan, and Averie Finchum; grandchildren, David and Brianne DeBrosky; sisters, Nancy Cox and husband Randy, and Cheryl Williamson; and numerous family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday May 13, 2017 at the Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel with interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to ;IGY6 in Alfred's name.
