Jeannie Shore, age 61, of Talala, OK passed on Thursday, May 4, 2017. Jeannie was born on July 3, 1955, at Chanute, KS.

She graduated from Moline High School in 1973. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma. She received a Master’s Degree from Northeastern Oklahoma State University in Tahlequah, OK.

Jeannie married on April 14, 1973, at the First Baptist Church, Moline, KS. Two children were born to this union. She enjoyed crocheting, drinking early morning coffee with Mike overlooking the lake at their home, and especially loved spoiling her grandchildren. Family, friends and her financial aid career were Jeannie’s love and joy.

Jeannie is survived by her husband; daughter and her husband; son and his wife; and her three grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister and her husband. Her surviving three brothers and spouses.

Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents Albert Henry and Rosetta Mann Barkley, and, Mary Lou Van Dyke Hudson, a sister, 155076540 Alberta Lynn DeWitt, and a brother, Charles Alva Barkley. Jeannie leaves behind many caring friends and relatives. She was truly loved and will be missed.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Stumpff Funeral Home in Bartlesville, OK. The memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at the St. John Before the Latin Gate Catholic Church in Bartlesville, OK. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Moline Cemetery in Moline, KS. Family suggests memorials to the Family Crisis and Counseling Center or the St. John Catholic Church, both in Bartlesville, OK.
