A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Mount Rose Cemetery. There will be no viewing. The Workinger-Semmel Funeral Home Inc., 849 E. Market St., York, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Eckman was born Aug. 10, 1930, in York. He was the son of the late Stanley C. and Agnes R. (Kling) Eckman.
Mr. Eckman is survived by three brothers, Ray C. Eckman and Gene C. Eckman, both of York, and Joel C. Eckman of Hellam; a sister, Jill C. Heindel of Windsor; and several nephews.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. David L. Ritterpusch of Advent Lutheran Church.
