Samuel Bowron died Dec. 12 at his home in Los Angeles, Calif., after a long illness. Mr. Bowron was formerly a resident of Hiwatha. He was a son of the late Dr. C. F. Bowron, one of the first settlers of Brown county. Besides his widow, Mrs. Mattie Bowron, these relatives sorry: William and Bernard, sons, of Berkeley, Calif.; Fletcher, son, of Los Angeles, Calif. Mrs. Ella Dawson, daughter, of Los Angeles, Calif.; James P. Bowron, brother, of Los Angeles, Calif.;p Mrs. Phoebe Bowron and Mrs. W. Y. Gregg, sisters, of Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Hannah Stewart, sister, of Oklahoma City, Okla. Burial was made in Los Angeles, Calif.
