She died on the morning of 9 MAY 1923 at the Mt. Carmel Motherhouse at Dubuque IA. Father R. P. MURPHY (Cousin) of Mason City officiated at her funeral with assistance of Father Bernard Leo HEFFERNAN (Cousin) of Rockford IL and Father T. F. O'BRIEN of Dubuque IA.

She was the daughter of Roger HEFFERNEN and Johanna LYNCH both buried at St. Patrick's at Monti, Buchanan Co. IA.
