Beverly Jean Butaud passed away peacefully on April 30, 2017. She was born December 1, 1932 in Dallas, Texas to William and Norma Orr. She graduated from Pasadena high school where she excelled in dance. In 1949, she married Milton Butaud and moved to Katy, Texas. They had two sons, Bill and Paul. It was in Katy that she began her dancing career. In 1956, the family moved to Conroe where she opened Beverly Butaud's School of Dance where she taught for almost 40 years. Every girl that took dancing from Miss Beverly knew that their "laces should be tucked in." She touched many girls' lives throughout the community. She loved to go to The Nutcracker at Christmas time and watch "Dancing with the Stars." In her spare time she loved being around her boys and family. She was a very poised and polished woman that continued to shine even later in life. She loved to get dressed up and take small trips to Louisiana to visit their slot machines. She will be missed by her entire family and many friends. She truly was a southern belle. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband, Milton to whom she was married to for almost 60 years. Beverly is survived by her sister, Linda Bryant and husband Morris; sons, Bill and Paul and fiancée Genevieve; grandchildren, Casey Butaud and wife Amber, Bari Armatys and husband Justin; 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Cashner Funeral Home on Thursday, May 4, 2017, from 5pm to 7pm. The funeral service will be Friday, May 5, 2017, beginning at 12:30pm with interment to follow in Conroe Memorial Park, 1600 Porter Road, Conroe, Texas, 77301.
