HIRAM WILLIAM O'BRIEN/O'BRYANT has three dates of death first in 1888 second in 1896 and finally in 1910. But, truth does prevail. What does one do when he is charged with a murder he did not do...he runs if he can. Hiram William O'Brien/O'Bryant had an alias...from 1888 until his death IN 1910 he was known as JOHN GEORGE MEYERS living in San Antonio, Texas.
You must SEE burial record in Find A Grave on John George Meyers. Even his final rest was not to be. He was buried in the City of San Antonio, Texas cemetery number 7, but alas he still has no rest, for his body and hundreds of others were removed from Number Seven and reburied in an unmarked grave lost forever. Number 7 is now part of a high school football field and numerous bodies may still be there but are not known, other bodies were moved to another cemetery in the city and are not marked or may even be under the military runway of the airport. As mentioned above this all took place after the death of Hiram William O'Brien aka John G. Meyers in 1910. The city Libraries has newspaper articles on the whole story of the removals and what happened. It is safe to say Hiram is buried in the City of San Antonio, Texas but I will never know where. My Great Grandfather Hiram William O'Brien aka John George Meyers grave has been lost forever. vb
