Daeley-Regan,Marie Catherine,a long time resident of Irvine,was called home to be with Jesus Sunday morning,July 28,2013.
Born in Devil’s Lake,North Dakota,Marie was an Registered Nurse and worked at Mercy Hospi- tal in North Dakota,and Stanton Hospital in California. She was married to Gerald Daeley in September of 1952,and had five children.
Marie is survived by her two brothers,Don and John Sullivan; one sister,Joan La Qua; 5 child- ren,Dan Daeley,Kirk Daeley,Patrick Daeley,Ke- vin Daeley and Danette Schaeper; twelve grandchildren,Bret,Scott,Carolyn,Michael, Matthew,Jenny,Danny,Wesley,Taylor,Tiffany, Patrick and Tim; eleven great-grandchildren, Jacob,Kaydence,Addison,Payton,Sloan,Paige, Jessica,Patrick, Christopher,Chloe; and one new arrival coming in November 2013. Marie is also survived by her loving husband,Don Re- gan.
Marie was a loving woman who’s Catholic faith resonated through prayer,deeds and generos- ity. She will always be loved and missed by all those who knew her.
God saw you were getting tired and a cure was not to be,
so He put His arms around you and whispered “Come with me”.
With tearful eyes we watched you suffer and saw you fade away,
although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,working hands were put to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
A Rosary will be held Sunday at 5:00PM,Brown Colonial Mortuary,204 W. 17th St.,Santa Ana, CA 92706. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, 10:00am,St. Cecilia Catholic Church,1301 Sycamore St.,Tustin,CA 92780.
