The funeral services of Mrs. Joseph Ridgeway took place at Fairview church four miles north of town on Thursday morning, Jan. 10th [12th], 1893, R. Venting preaching the sermon. She was born in Peoria, Ill. Jan. 10th 1845 and died on her birthday Jan. 10th 1893 her age being 48 years. She leaves a husband and six children to mourn her loss; and we desire to extend our heartfelt sympathy to the family now left. They came to Iowa in 1877.
