Moise was baptised by Father Charles M. Menard. It is noted in the church history book that the land that St. Louis Catholic Church is currently located on was sold to St. Bridget Catholic Church for the purpose of building a church. It was sold by Andrew/Andre Dupre for the sum of $170.00. Andrew/Andre Dupre acquired the property from his father, Moise Menard Augustin Dupre, on Dec. 12, 1910 (book of Conveyances 43, folios 311 et. seq.).

No marker is found for Moise. He is possibly buried in St. Francis Cemetery #1 in Houma, LA, as were many other Bayou Blue residents who passed away before burials took place in St. Louis Cemetery.
