John Richard Tribble, 80, of Savannah, MO passed away, Saturday, April 29, 2017 at his home.

He was born on December 20, 1936 to John and Bertha Mae (Glick) Tribble on the family farm near Leon, Kansas where he attended school and grew up.

Richard was an over the road truck driver, and also hauled livestock. He later settled in the Kershner Edition in south St. Joseph where he owned and operated a mechanic shop. In 1994 Richard moved to the Fillmore Community near Savannah. He enjoyed trader auctions and buying and selling farm machinery with his good friends, Jeff Hoffman, Mark Younger, Jeff Pittman. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends, Chris Brushwood, Donnie Meyer, Steve Curran, and his many other friends in the Fillmore community.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mable Tribble, and sister, Edna Mae Hubbard.

Richard is survived by two brothers, Robert James Tribble and George William Tribble; two sisters, Juanita Lucille Mayes and Mary Lou Carrell; caregiver, friend and neighbor, Chris Brushwood; step-daughter, Lonna Conroy and husband Roger; several step-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 2nd at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home in Gower with visitation one hour prior.
