A well-known Spokane vocalist, Mrs. Lillian Edna Joy, died suddenly yesterday at her home, N 4311 Lincoln. She was 51 and had been born in Spokane.
She was a member of the choir of the Knox Presbyterian church. She also belonged to the Lorelei singers, and had been presented in many professional engagements and recitals.
Survivors include her widower, Herbert, at the home, a daughter, Mrs. Helen Hughes, Madison grade school teacher; one sister, Beatrice Lenhart of Spokane; two brothers, Clarence Lenhart of Spokane and Frank Lenhart, Bonners Ferry, Idaho; one granddaughter, Karen Hughes of Spokane.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Hazen & Jaeger funeral home.
