Stewart M. Kunkel, 85, of Stony Run, died Friday morning in the Lutheran Home at Topton.
He was the husband of Mary E. (Wolfe) Kunkel. Stewart was born in Stony Run a the son of the late Homer H. and Lovie E. (Bond) Kunkel. Stewart was a member of Frieden's Lutheran Church, Stony Run.
He was employed at Quaker Maid Kitchens as a cabinet maker for 32 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; son, Glenn S., Stony Run; daughter, Lori E., wife of Steven Schulman, Rancho Sante Fe, California; granddaughter, Christine; and three great-grandsons; sister, Joyce C., wife of Donald Moyer, Shartlesville.
He was predeceased by a brother, Robert A.
Funeral services Tuesday May 2, at 11 a.m. in Frieden's Lutheran Church Stony Run. Friends may call Tuesday 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Pastoral Care Provider Millicent Drake officiating.
