He was born at New Holstein on June 29, 1913, the son of Carl and Ellen Luehrs Aggen. He was graduated from New Holstein High School and on Feb. 15, 1933, married Marcella Becher at Geneva, Ill.
Mr. Aggen was employed as a welder by the M-B Co. at New Holstein for 28 years before retiring in 1973 due to ill health. He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ at New Holstein and a member of the New Holstein Volunteer Fire Department for 42 years.
Survivors include his widow; a son, Gerald of Oshkosh; a daughter, Mrs. Roger Weber of Route 2, Chilton and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at Erbe-Evjen Funeral Home, New Holstein, with the Rev. Albert K. Borns of St. John United Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow in New Holstein City Cemetery.
