Joseph Pearson, 78, of 109 Abbott street, Plains, died last night at his home following an illness.
Born in England, Mr. Pearson had lived in Plains for 60 years and was a member of Plains Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 at his home with Rev. Robert Wood officiating. Burial will be in Hollenback Cemetery.
Surviving are two sons and a daughter, Roy Pearson, Endicott, N. Y.; Leslie Pearson, New Jersey; Mrs. Ernest Willis, Plains; also by a sister, Mrs. Paul Connor, Connecticut; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
