He first played music for local events when he was 16 yrs old. He would later form Roland and his Happy Ramblers and was well known throughout northern Vermont
He drove school busses for Westford and others until he retired in 1996 after 50 yrs and also had a charter coach bus services
Survived by his wife, 2 sons and 1 daughter and their families
