Steven was born on February 19, 1955, in Denton to Glenn and Ruth Vaughn. He proudly served his country for 28 years in the U.S. Marine Corps as an E7 Gunnery Sgt. and bulk fuel chemist and served during Desert Storm and in the Persian Gulf. His family was the source of his strength and being with them, whether it was fishing, having a BBQ or just being together, was when he was happiest. He will be greatly missed for his generous and giving nature.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother Glenn and Ruth Vaughn and brothers Tim Shaw and John Vaughn.
