Kenneth Lee Brown, 91, of Cismont, left his earthly home to rejoin his beloved wife, Hazel, on Thursday April 21, 2017. He passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 29, 1925, in Washington D.C. A son of the late Norman W. Brown and Annie R. Brown.
He was a retired master electrician and long-time member of Grace Episcopal Church.
He was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Hazel Walker Brown; a brother, Thomas Carlisle Brown; and a sister, Norma T. Brown.
He is survived by two daughters, Debra L. Nidel (Bill) and Lorrie A. Bricker (Bill); one son, Thomas L. Brown (Debi); six grandchildren, T.J. Stargell, Danielle Bricker, Alex Brown, Miranda Bricker, Anna Brown, and Jacob Woodson; a very special sister and brother-in-law, Don and Myralee Sandridge; and a host of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2017,at Grace Episcopal Church in Cismont with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The Reverend Miles Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 24, 2017,at the Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville.
