SALT LAKE CITY - Funeral services for Dora Catherine Hemmert Laker, 82, who died Sunday in a Logan hospital, were held today in the Riverside Third Ward Chapel.
Mrs. Laker was the mother of Mrs. Clyde H. (Anna) Williams of Orem.
She was born November 10, 1889 in St. Charles, Idaho to William Hyrum and Anna Charlotte Osterline Hemmert. She married Daniel C. Laker on June 30, 1915 in the Salt Lake Temple and he died in May 1965.
Active in the LDS Church, she served as president and counselor in the Riverside Ward Relief Society.
Survivors include two sons and two daughters, Mrs. Williams, Orem; W. Bryan Laker and Mrs. Victor K. (LaRee) Cummings, both of Salt Lake City; Daniel Reed Laker, Littleton, Colo.; 18 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four brothers and one sister, Lorenzo Hemmert, Robert Hemmert, and Frank Hemmert, all of St. Charles, Idaho; Joseph Hemmert and Mrs. Irl C. (Jennie) Nye, both of Logan.
Burial was in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
