Norbert W. Haigis, 73, of Butler, died Friday at Florence Park Care Center. He was the retired owner of Haigis Painting, Alexandria. A son, Stephen Haigis, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Eileen Ries Haigis; sons, Jeffrey Haigis of Butler, Matthew Haigis of Cold Spring, Timothy Haigis of Taylor Mill, and Thomas Haigis of Alexandria; a daughter, Noreen Haigis Muth of Taylor Mill; brothers, Ronald Haigis of Cold Spring and Gary Haigis of Falmouth; a sister, Betty Ruschman of Cold Spring; and eight grandchildren.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at Alexandria Funeral Home.
Visitation will begin there at 3 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass-Northern Kentucky, 1403 Alexandria Pike, Fort Thomas, Ky. 41075; or to the charity of the donor's choice.
