SHREVEPORT, LA – A Memorial Service for Vincent Michael “Tag” Taglavore, 92, will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Broadmoor Baptist Church, Memorial Chapel, Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Dr. Larry Williams assisted by Chris Willcutt Pastor of Grawood Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2017, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall Street, Shreveport, LA.

Tag was born May 18, 1924, in Shreveport, LA to Rosalie Carbone Taglialavore and Alphonso Taglialavore and passed away April 18, 2017, in Shreveport, LA. He was a World War II veteran, receiving all five battle stars for serving in all theaters of operation. He became the owner of Sally May, Tall and Stout Dress Shops. He later retired from Roger Christian Realty as a successful sales agent.

Tag was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Sam, Pete, Tom, Tony, Paul, and Joe, and his sister, Pauline Taglavore Lewis. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 50 years, Betty Sue Tanner Taglavore; daughter, Tracy Taglavore Mikovich and husband, Steve; son, Kevin Taglavore and wife, Cyndi; grandchildren, Alexis Taglavore, Nick Taglavore, Hannah Mikovich, and Austin Mikovich; sister, Josephine Flick of Atlanta, GA; numerous nieces and nephews; and lovable pet dog Beaux.
