Rickey L. Oliver, age 62, of Port Huron died unexpectedly of natural causes on April 12, 2017 at Lake Huron Medical Center. He was born November 28, 1954 in Port Huron to Bruce and Barbara Oliver, and was a lifelong resident. He worked for over 25 years with the State of Michigan at the DHS office. Rickey loved to help people in need, and he also loved to spend time with his family. He enjoyed antiquing, going to thrift stores, and Mickey Mouse.
He is survived by 4 children; LeeAnn (Chris) Bartin, Rickey (Tammy) Oliver II, Melissa (Steven Verner) Oliver, Michell Oliver, longtime companion, Sheridan Brown, 5 grandchildren, Brandon, Katlynne, Cassey, Brittni, and Aurora, a great-granddaughter, Emma, and his siblings, Sandy (Bob) Smith, Marsha (Clarence) Miller, Diane (Ed) Healy, Debbie (Bill) Briggs, and Randy (Brenda) Oliver, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, Sydney, and brothers Dale and Scott Oliver.
