Josephine E. Patranella, 88, formally of Bryan and now residing in Caldwell went to be with the Lord on Sunday November 27, 2016.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 30 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday with an Altar Society rosary at 4:30 p.m. and evening rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.

Josephine was born January 20, 1928 in Bryan the daughter of Louis and Eleanor (Weido) Emola. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in Bryan. Josephine was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, the Altar Society and Golden Years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, playing bingo, scratching lottery tickets, painting, and puzzles; but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Josephine is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Patranella Jr.; sister, Mary Agnello and husband Lebon; brothers, Joe Emola and wife Wilma, Sam Emola and wife Callie; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Laura Patranella; Brothers-in-law, Frank Patranella and Benny Patranella; sisters-in-law, Lucy Grizzaffi and husband Frank, Rosalie Vacante and husband Frank, and Bobbie Patranella.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael J. and Carla Patranella; daughter and son-in-law, Linda J. and Alfred Kilian; brothers and sister-in-law, Barney and Doris Patranella, Charlie Patranella, Anthony Patranella; sisters-in-law, Lena Patranella, Lucille Patranella, Josephine Salvage; grandchildren, Phillip Patranella and wife Casandra, Mark Patranella and wife Daisha; great-grandchildren, Luke Patranella, Beau Patranella and Braydan Charanza; and numerous other family members and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be, Johnny Patranella, Lebon Agnello, Anthony Emola, Glenn Emola, Phillip Patranella and Mark Patranella. Honorary pallbearers will be, Jodie Todaro, Sammy Patranella, Johnny Lampo, Mike Lampo, Joe Reina, Joe Fazzino and Sam Weido.

The family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph Manor Burleson and Traditions Hospice for the love and care they gave to Josephine.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Anthony's Catholic Church, the Altar Society or Golden Years.
