Elsie E., 88, Windber, died April 5, 2013, at home. Born Feb. 21, 1925, in Ford City, daughter of the late Turney K. and Bessie E. (Stear) Stockdill. Also preceded in death by husband, Robert S. Sr.; son, William D.; infant daughter; one brother; and three sisters. Survived by these children: Robert S. Jr., married to former Doris Hiteshew; Nancy Donato; and Susan Adams, all of Windber. Grandmother to June Studinary (Ed), Ronald Adams (Linda), Arlene Adams, Karen Bubenko (Matt) and David Jr., Christine and Peter Donato. Great-grandmother to Stephanie, Brett, Tiffany, Ashley, Brody and Collin. Sister to Edna Mae McClelland, Indiana, and Robert Stockdill, Clermont, Fla. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and kitty cat, Snowball. Elsie was an excellent cook and baker. She was very outgoing and enjoyed the company of others. She loved attending the family reunion. Avid rummy player. Member of Berkey Church of the Brethren. Interment, Berkey Cemetery.
