Lena R. Sabatino, 95, of Roseto passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017, in the Slate Belt Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Bangor. Born in Pen Argyl on April 5, 1922, Lena was the daughter of the late Antonio and Catherine Bontempo Curtolo. Her beloved husband for 67 years, Domenick M. Sabatino, passed away on Jan. 26, 2014.

Lena was a seamstress at the former L&M Sportswear of Roseto for 40 years. She enjoyed having her entire family together for Sunday dinner, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Roseto., a member of the Ladies auxiliary of the Roseto Rod & Gun Club, and a member of UNITE - the garment workers union.

She is survived by a son, Michael and his wife, Shirley Sabatino, of Easton, and two daughters, Marie Cammareri and her husband, Ronald, and Donna Hildabrant and her husband, Vincent, both of Bangor, and six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Olga Bago, and brothers, Gildo Curtolo and John Curtolo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at 12 noon. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Third and Garibaldi avenues, Roseto. Relatives and friends may call on Friday, April 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, April 22, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Fiore Funeral Home, 230 Market Street, Bangor. Entombment will be in the Queen of Heaven Mausoleum in the New Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Roseto.
