Mr. David L Snow, 87, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Advicate Christ's Medical Center. He was born February 17, 1928 in Marion, Indiana, the son of Erna D Snow and Eula (Imler) Snow.
David retired in 1988 from the Maintenance Department at NIPSCO after 38 years of service.He was a life long member and past State President of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He is now a member of the Plymouth area.
On June 6, 1948 in La Porte David married Barbara Miller who preceded him in death Aug. 23, 1995. On Dec. 1, 1997 in Elizabeth Town KY he married Kay F. (Travis) Snow who survives.
He is also survived by his three sons, Edwin (Sharon) Snow of La Porte, IN, Richard (Marjorie) Snow of Lafayette, IN, Donald (Susan) Snow of La Porte, IN; two stepsons, Glenn E. Oman, Jr. of La Porte, IN, Geoffrey Sellers of La Porte, IN; six grandchildren; three step grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; sister, Lily Johnson of Trenton, MO; brother, Robert Snow of Normal, IL.
David was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Barbara Miller, daughter-in-law, Sharon Snow, three sisters, Mary Flash, Fern Stevens, and Edna Stricler; two brothers, Edwin E Snow, Allen Snow, and stepson, Gregory A. Oman.
