BRISTOL, VT. - Donald Lee Bessette Sr., age 70, passed away on Sunday, April 16th 2017 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, Vt.
He was born on January 31st 1947 in South Burlington, Vt., the son of Bernard "Ernest" Ernest and Lena May (Lord) Bessette.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1974.
He married Gail Ann Ravelin on January 24th 1970 in Winooski, Vermont. She predeceased him on March 28th 2002.
In addition to his wife; Gail Bessette, he was predeceased by his parents; his father Ernest Bessette on August 31st 1973 and his mother Lena Bessette in February of 1983, two brothers; Donald Ernest Bessette on July 20th 1953 and Eugene Wallace Bessette on July 27th 1952, and one sister; Evelyn Mae Bessette on December 19th 1928.
