Bessie May Reddell , daughter of Mary Jane Moore and John Thomas Reddell, was born 29 April 1887 at Buffalo Gap, Taylor Co TX. She married Jefferson Ernest Graham there on 26 October 1912. He was born 29 August 1886 at Tuscola, Taylor Co, son of Ben F Graham and Martha Susanna Smith (both from GA). He was an engineer for the stock yards, and died at Lawn, Taylor Co on 3 June 1966. "J R Reddell, Justice of Peace" was the informant for his death certificate. Jefferson was buried in Cedar Gap Cemetery at Tuscola, Taylor Co. His home was at Tuscola when he died. Bessie died at Fort Worth on 31 January 1920 of pneumonia (per death certificate), and was buried at Aledo in Parker Co. Her gravestone has a death date of 25 January 1920; perhaps the death certificate was done late after someone noticed that the doctor never turned one in, and then the true date couldn't be remembered. "N Reddell" of Dallas was the informant for her death certificate; this was sister Nettie Ilva Reddell who was a nurse at Dallas. The parents shown on the death certificate just had family names, not given names, and Bessie May's name was shown to be Mary Graham, not Bessie May Graham, yet the birth date was correct.
