Donald Herbert Blackwell was born August 29, 1930 to
Wm Herbert & Francis Marie (Kaiser) Blackwell in Lenexa, Ks. He attended School in Olathe, Kansas. He loved Baseball. He really loved spending Summers with his Grandpa Kaiser on his farm. He Graduated in 1948 and married on Dec 1950.They raised their young family in Olathe.
He worked various jobs, but finally found his passion after attending the Police Academy and subsequently being hired by the Prarie Village Ks. PD.
He climbed the ranks and was a detective, & served on the KC Task Force. It is said that he read the entire 888 pg
Warren Report, after the death of Pres. JFK. He later made Sgt. and eventually Lieutenant . He retired to his farm in ElDorado Springs, Mo. in 1983.
