Cliff Joseph "C.J." Dubroc, a retired driver, died May 30 of cancer at his home. He was 74. Mr. Dubroc was born in Marksville and lived on the West Bank for many years and in Gretna for the past year. He had been a member of the Westwego Volunteer Fire Co. and was a Westwego auxiliary police officer. Survivors include his wife, Edna Kriz Dubroc; five daughters, Ruby Pitre, Sylvia Granier, Dorothy Hullet, Edna Crouse and Donna Bastiste; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. A private service was held. United Funeral Service handled arrangements.
