Anna Margaret Cockrill, 93, of 909 Reserve St., Boise died Thursday, Dec. 15, 1988, in a Boise nursing home.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19, at Cloverdale Memorial Park. Elder Robert Stephenson of the LDS Church will officiate. Arrangements are under direction of the Cloverdale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cockrill, a retired school teacher, was born April 4, 1895, at Maroa, Ill., a daughter of Eggert and Christina Timm. She graduated from Eastern Illinois Normal School, and taught the Amish in Illinois. Anna moved to Boise in 1919. She married Floyd B. Cockrill on June 12, 1921, at Boise. Mr. Cockrill died Nov. 7, 1967. Anna taught second grade at the old Garfield Elementary School for two years.
She was a member of the XYZ Senior Citizens group, and the Iris Society.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Gramm Lutz of Boise; a daughter, Mary Margaret Stephenson of Boise; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild; and a niece and a nephew. In addition to her husband, a son also died earlier.
