Services for Perry A. Schubarth of Aurora were held Wednesday at Moore-Howard Mortuary. Burial was at Fairmount. Schubarth, 68, died Jan. 31 in Denver. He was born Nov. 19, 1918, in Monument and was graduated from Monument High School. He was married to Thelma Taylor July 5, 1942, in Colorado Springs. He retired from I. M. L. Freight, Inc., after 29 years. Schubarth received the Motor Carrier Driver of the Year Award in 1970 and was featured in Time Magazine. He also received numerous driving awards in Colorado and Wyoming. Schubarth was a member of Teamsters Local 961 and the Aurora Masonic Lodge 156. Survivors include his wife; a brother, Henry, Arkansas; and a sister, Nellie V. Wright, Colorado Springs. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2255 S. Oneida St., Denver 80224.
