She was a native of Washington County and a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church.

Harrodsburg; four stepdaughters; Mrs. Merrel Long, Mrs. Richard Bowea and Mrs. HoUis Young, all of Harrodsburg, and Mrs. J W Green, Taylorsville; two step sons, Herbert Robinson, Mercer County, and Jasper McGrath, Hon PTA officers at Stanford Harrodsburg; two sisters, Mrs. Herbert Robinson, Mercer County, and Jasper McGrath, Hon PTA officers at Stanford Harrodsburg; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Wofford and Mrs. Ruby Bailey, Lawrenceburg, and four brothers, Cleo Derr, Mercer County; Roscoe and Bernice Derr, Lawrenceburg, and Vohn Derr, Anderson County. Services were conducted at 2 P.m. Monday at Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home by the Rev. Wallace H. Carrier and the Rev. Nolan D. Moore. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
